    :lol::lol:

    By the time anyone had heard of Froch, Joe was up at 175 fighting in America. What did Froch bring to the table?

    What does Froch bring to the table that would allow him to beat Calzaghe?

    He doesn't have the skill or workrate to take a decision and no-one would honestly believe that he could KO Calzaghe so why would Calzaghe run from him. If Froch had been willing to fight Calzaghe at LHW Calzaghe's weightclass at the time then maybe you might have the basis to say Calzaghe ducked him

    first up, I am correcting the statement that Wards best wins are Calzaghe leftovers. They arent, so I am quite right to suggest the OP is wrong.

    On to my point, Joe left the fresh pack of SMW young uns to fight 2 oldies at LHW and then retired FAST.

    Its churlish to pretend he couldnt have fought Froch at a catchweight for a massive fight in Britain, or Dawson for a test against the LHW guy who was much better than old hopkins.

    I'm not saying Joe was wrong to avoid them though - he made the right decision at that time in his career.

    I don't generally use the term 'leftover', two of Ward's best wins in Kessler and Bika were beaten by Calzaghe though. But the win over Froch was a quality win

    What fresh pack? :lol: He beat Kessler, who was top dog and moved on because he couldn't make SMW anymore. The likes of Bute and Froch were nobodies. It's akin to saying if Wladimir Klitschko retired today, he ran away from David Price and Tyson Fury :lol::patsch

    His first fight at LHW was against the number 1 LHW on the planet, and that win over Hopkins was better than any win over Carl Froch, today or in 2007

    No it's not churlish, there was pretty much no demand for the fight except for Froch's camp and a minority of his hardcore fans. Catchweight? :patsch Joe was a LHW, if Froch wanted it he had to move up and bring something to the table, which he didn't.

    Hopkins was the number 1 LHW on the planet, so your point about Dawson is moot. Secondly, Dawson couldn't and still can't sell out a village hall. He won the legit LHW championship, and he still has no fanbase :lol:

    Better luck next time herol :good

    I already mentioned him. :good

    I think Mosley wins this tbh if were going simply off opponents faced, I know Mora is in there but Mayweather, Pacquiao, Margarito and Canelo is strong as hell.
