Anyone get the sense that Cotto/Margarito might be like PBF/Gatti?

First off all. I never thought Gatti vs. PBF was going to be competitive. I felt all along that PBF would embarrass Gatti. Tha being said, I don't think tha Cotto has the boxing ability to embarrass Margo the way Floyd did Gatti. Secondly if Margo uses his height and reach Cotto will be hit and he will have to take some to get Margo out, but he will.

This is not about skills or strategy. This is a fight and with a capital F. Cotto goes for Tony and Tony doesn't take a step back - collision course is guaranteed and according to the laws of dynamics and straight collision of two masses, the most powerful object ( speed multiplies force) will strike the other in the opposite sense of motion... Cotto may use the stiff jab and side to side movement like against Mosley and NDou to steal it late but Tony will take every single blow ( as already proven against Kermit) and will open up with twisting and heavy body shots all night long... This is no scientifical fight a la Mayweather-Gatti, there are no prisioners here, the loser is done!

As a fan, I hope we get the most exciting fight possible.

As a rational thinker taking Cotto's recent body of work into consideration, I think there's a LIVE possibility he turns this into a devastatingly simple yet effective boxing clinic. Frankly, I hope I'm wrong.

Yes I think Cotto would expose Margo.

Defo not on a PBF/Gatti status..
& More like a Gatti Vs. Ward type
(IF Cotto decides to fight with Tony)

It's up to Miguel, he don't have to brawl.
but will he be forced into it?

Everytime someone names Cintron during their opinion about what is going to happen in the Cotto/ Margarito I feel like throwing up. Yes, Cintron hit very hard. But you have to stand in there and put yyour chin up in order for Cintron to hit you. And if you are throwing punches, he just doesn't know what to do. Like Mayweather Sr. said: "Cintron can't spell boxing".
I want to see Cintron/Quintana. I also wanted to see Margarito/Mosley. But I guess I am getting something better now.

Really doubt he'll be forced with Margarito's poor defense and speed. Also Margarito doesn't really cut off the ring good enough to force Cotto, but I'm pretty sure Cotto will engage at times which will make it competitive. Considering both styles this is supposed to be competitive but could also be easy if Cotto fights defensive.
