If Ward tries to box from range or on the back foot I fear Froch will try loading up like he did against Dirrell and just be easier and easier to hit.

I'm quite excited, but I can't help but feel it's going to be a boring one sided fight.

That's not a great comparison, Longcount. On so many levels.

This. I'd put his chances at 40% max but the one thing you never hear about Froch is him putting up obstacles to avoid fights, or bitching about his purse and when he has to fight abroad. Such a pity his attitude is so rare.

I just hope he doesn't get schooled (not that i think he will).

It isn't a style comparison, more a circumstantial comparison if you know what I mean.

I'm approaching this fight with a different attitude to most I get nervous about. I don't expect Froch to win, so I'm not nervous. I'll be perfectly happy as long as he makes it to a decision, and I'll be ecstatic if he wins.

If he gets knocked out however, I'll be ****ing wounded.

i thin froch might surprise a few people, i mean he was a very good am himself and has a great jab when he decides to use it, if he can get away from the urge of trying to go toe-to-toe with ward and try and get ward to come to him and try time ward i think he'll have success, but then again i havent really seen anything of ward so could be way off

I've already accepted Ward will win handily so am over it already. Just hope Froch, probably my favourite active fighter, gives as good an account of himself as he can.

When has he done that? He'll stay on Frochys chest as he has no in-fighting game.

In terms of styles I can't make a case Slip, not without risking the small ounce of integrity I have left.

I can't even give him a chance to pull of a shock K.O as he doesn't have much power.

I can reel off some clichés about how "Froch wants it more" and the like, if you fancy?
