Anyone getting pre fight nerves for Froch v Ward???

    Ward is not a puncher and has never been deep in the trenches like Froch. Froch has that teak toughness that is rare in fighters and is utterly confident in his abilities. His skillset is undervalued and he will not give up. This is a very tough fight for Ward and no walkover.

    As much as I like Froch, he has to be a wide outside bet in this one, the styles are all against him. Carl will be wasting a lot of energy and getting countered far too often. He may have some early success, but I see him losing any advantage he has after he is made a little more cautious by the number, and cleanness, of the shots landing on him.

    I would be ecstatic if Froch won, and I would love to have underestimated him, but I just think his limitations are going to be all too evident on the night.

    :edit: Re-reading my post, I think perhaps they are bold predictions given the amount of Ward I have seen, so there is rather large margin of error if I have misjudged Andre. I think perhaps I was a little too harsh on Froch anyway, but it will be a tough night!

    i see it being a wide win for ward,to much of pretty much everything,i think ward is an exceptional fighter

    i just hope after the fight if froch loses he accepts he got beat by a much better fighter,id lose all respect for him if he comes up with excuses etc ala haye
