Literally every interview I hear, any article I read.. they have to mention the "80,000". That one number is supposed to give more credence to Froch's career?

It was George Groves for Christ's sakes. A guy who just lost to Badou Jack. A guy who Froch not only knocked out once but twice :rofl

What did you expect, Froch is experiencing insecurity problems after being scared into retirement by GGG

he always considered himself a fearless warrior, the fact that he was retired out of fear by a small MW must be eating away at his manhood. I bet even Racheal notices at this point

by bragging and boasting about his accomplishments he's trying to convince himself, and not only the fans, that he's still a badass

80,000 is a fantastic number, but it's the UK, so to be correct he should elaborate that it was 80,000 dead drunk Brit alcoholics.

I don't mind. He did what others can't do at home.
Floyd and Manny could have done better if they fought at the Cowboys stadium, but ..."if's" and "maybe's".
Froch made those UK fans prove their love for the sport by fighting a basic no name, at the time, and selling out.

Manny didn't sell out in china and get PPVs.
Floyd's last fight was boo boo.

Froch is like Vitaly in more ways than one. Vit never missed a chance to remind "Ali, Tyson and Lewis owned this belt" when he was holding WBC title.

    "I" ... "iron-chinned warrior" ..."80,000 in Wembley".

Throw in some gibberish in the middle and you can sell this to the tabloids as a genuine exclusive interview with Carl Froch.

I'm not getting tired of it by not paying attention to Froch. He's some guy with a big nose I happen to see on TV during fights now.

He's gone that far in his ego he speaks about himself in the third person so the "I" would be no good ... You're best adding 'the cobra'
