I favor VK with a decision win over Frazier. Consider Frazier's 2 fights with George Foreman: Foreman using his size and reach to repeatedly push Joe away, creating space for his punches, even smash down Joe's guards if neccesary, over and over again until it's done. There's nothing stop VK from using the same tactics, he has all the tools. VK also has a granite chin and could take Joe's left hook, his stamina is fine too for prolonged exchange.

Correct. Vitali is bigger and stronger than Foreman.

There's no way, no way Vitali is stronger than Foreman.

8 minutes for an outraged Classic poster to respond to my comment? 3 more minutes than I'd bet on ;)

    Frazier would beat him up.
Vitali would do well to last the distance, he might get stopped on cuts or quit.

Frazier might beat Vitali up, but whatchamacall him ... that guy with the thongs. That guy, you know who I'm talking about, the guy with the skills? He'd obliterate Vitali.

No he's the guy with the spoons. But he'd also give Vitali a right whalloping. He's got that, whatsit, footwork and handspeed. Vitali hasn't seen speed like Oscar's speed before. facts.

I'm sure we had this thread not long ago anyway.
I see it something like Frazier-Bugner.

The real question is if Frazier has any chance against Vitali. Chuvalo fought Frazier, backed him up, and even had him hurt before Frazier got control. But it was a highly competitive bout.

Chuvalo, was tough and very good, but was only 6 foot tall. He seemed bigger than Frazier when they fought, and had him rocked a few times.

Vitali would dwarf Joe, at 6' 7" and was busier , stronger, and may even have had a better chin than Chuvalo. VK has far more stamina than him as well. He is one of the few fighters that get stronger as a fight goes on.

Vitali would not lift Frazier off the floor like Foreman did, but VK does have a higher KO% than Foreman. This all adds up to Joe being beaten down slowly - at first- and then getting worse by mid rounds until he is a battered , close eyed , broken man. Vitali chews him up and consumes him. Joe may not quit, even after having to take several knees. By the end of round 10 the doctor will have to stop the fight.

Vitali is one of the worst possible opponents that Joe could ever draw. This would be a slow moving train wreck that Joes heart makes interesting to watch in a sickeningly morbid way.

Vitali is legend. He destroys Joe in 10 rounds by KO

Foreman has that uppercut, Vitali does not.Vitali would have a hard time landing on the elusive Frazier.
