Ortiz has technique and power, a fighter that berto has yet to face. His loss to maidana was because he couldnt handle relentless pressure. Berto's style is nothing like that.

This is a do or die fight for Ortiz's career so its likely hes very motivated.

How much of a chance does he have?

This is a fight thats going under the radar and it has the potential to change the landscape of the welterweight division. I can see either fighter getting KO'd and either fighter being outboxed by the other.

+325 odds on Victor Ortiz is mighty tempting.

They are. Ortiz has at least a 30% chance in my eyes. That's more like +230 chances. Berto's good but not spectacular. He barely scrapped by Collazo and I imagine he has some stamina deficiencies. Very viable upset.

He is a boxer, he definitely will not be sparked out in the first round, he weighs in at 150 plus fight night, so he won't be super small... only a tad bit.

Styles seem to favor a decent fight and someone might be KO'ed late.

    IMO of course..

Ortiz has a 50% chance from me.

Very difficult one for me to choose...I rate its a 50/50 fight, both guys have the tools to beat the other. Iv seen more of Victor so I'm leaning towards him

Ortiz has no chance. He's been fighting smaller guys. His one big asset, punching power, is diminished against a bigger guy.
Even at his own weight, he gets discouraged easily, and has quit when the going gets tough.
Berto is underrated by most. He's more active than Ortiz and has shown more balls. Not only will he be bigger and stronger, Berto is quicker than Ortiz.
Vic will quit around the 6th round.
