    Hi mate!
What was your dehydration/rehydration plan? From start to finish, including supplements?
I'm sure it affects people in different ways though.

Agree COMPLETELY with your last sentence!

Just depended on how much weight Id to lose, and the only reason I did it was Id qualified at that weight and couldnt move up. It was fight or forfeit.
The most I had to take off was 4.5kg, and that was for a Friday night bout, so after training on Thurs I didnt rehydrate as I normally would have done after training, and then I liked to do pad work the day of the fight, and similarly, I just didnt rehydrate as fully as normal.
That proved to be of minimal success so the day of the fight, all I could do was moisten my mouth, and I was sucking on slices of cucumber and I felt really bad. Then I got weighed in, passed the doc, and got myself straight to my water bottles, piled in the electrolyte sachets and went for it.
I ended up drinking a lot to feel ok, but needed to **** in equal measure.

I was flat so then had some caffine filled energy drink(the antogonist of trying to hold water), but I felt **** so had to try something.
I was flat in the fight.
I know pro's can do massive amounts of dehydration/rehydration with 24hours, but I had a 6.30 weigh in and was fighting 3rd of a card that started at 7.45, just wasnt enough time for me.

Cheers guys its pretty much fight at that weight or not though so says the coach. There is also a guy from the same gym entering the tourney dropping from 66kgs and coach says he will be too strong which I would say is 100% true

    Such as?

Son your metric to imperial conversion is not up to scratch

Tell your coach that curly said lay off the cronic. 9/10 a person who fights at his walking around weight will be relativley stronger than a boxer coming down that much in weight
