Anyone have a photograph of Joe Frazier on their wall?

Just saw him at the Atlantic City airport. Very nice man. He poses for pics without complaint and gladly exchanges pleasantries with anyone who approaches him. Sadly, Mr. Frazier is slightly hunched ovesr now and uses a cane.

 

Shame to hear. Still you don't fight the way he fought and end up 100% in your later years.

 

I have a kind of a picture wall in my living room. Ten pictures in length and four in height. The second row is dedicated to boxing pictures. It´s starts with Dempsey sitting in his corner and looking into the camera, the next one is Schmeling jumping with his hands raised after knocking out Joe Louis, the next one is the famous shot Marciano hitting Jersey Joe, than the famous shot of Basilio, where the doctor is examining his victim in the front while Basilio is celebrating in the back, than the famous picture where Ali and Frazier look at each other but are seperated by a door, the next one is old Ali sitting and old Frazier standing next to him in a ring in boxing coats, then comes a famous shot of Duran shortly before he hits his opponent, then a picture of Patterson putting on his bandages with a very concentrated look on his face, then another shot of Duran, sitting in his corner looking at his opponent. Then, comes the same picture just with Frazier instead of Duran. Too lazy to upload them ^^

 

nope. Joe Louis is on my wall.

 

He was on his way to West Palm in Florida to get away from the cold weather up here this time of year. His gym in Philadelphia was up for sale. Hopefully he sold it and is basking in the Florida sunshine now.

Like I said before I was with Frazier and his son Marvis for 6 hours last Sunday when I MC'ed the Ring 8 Christmas Party and Award ceremories. He was very nice and hje kept asking me to sit down and eat along sidfe of him. When he got up to talk and said he didn't need the cane but when he talked I held the mic for him.

Like someone else stated, he signed autographs and took pictures with everyone that wanted too. A real nice guy.

 

Hopefully that place can get heritage listed, id hate to hear of anything happening to it

 

One? ive got MANY!!! signed and unsigned and i got a Joe Frazier fathead from my wife as christmas gift

 

My dad used to be a huge boxing fan and there are pictures of Marciano, LaMotta and Frazier on our basement wall. There are also pictures of me with Joe that were taken when I was 8 or 9.
