    Anyone on the forum no when and if he plans on fighting again in 2010? I hope he does this is shaping up to be one of the worst years of Boxing. Not that he's boxings' savior, but he's a big name who will come to fight whoever they put him in with next. Thoughts!

    Think he had a small shoulder surgery. Some place say it rules him out until 2011, some say he could still fight on Dec. 4th

    I'd like to see him in with maybe Alfredo Angulo. That'd be a pretty good title defense.

    He's probably fighting in New York on December 4. They're trying to make it a fight with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. but Junior is balking because Freddie Roach will be in the Philippines. The backup plan I've heard is Kermit Cintron.

    I read in the local paper here in Puerto Rico more than a few weeks ago that he did have a shoulder operation and that he can't fight this year because he can't begin to train properly until the very end of this year.

    Well I hope he lets his body heal properly then... I love watching Cotto in the ring but definitely only at 100%..

    He's likely fighting Dec. 4th in Atlantic City (or possibly NYC) with Kermit Cintron and Vanes Martirosyan being possible opponents. On the undercard, Chavez Jr. is slated to fight Pawel Wolak in the co-feature and Nonito Donaire fights Wladimir Sidorenko.

    I have heard that as well but I doubt they put him in the ring with Kermit the Frog.
