I had it for Marquez by 1 or 2 points. The point deduction didnt matter because he won the round so it was 9-9, and the last round knockdown negated the knockdown he scored earlier. So it all came down to the other rounds, which there is no way Vasquez won more than Marquez. Anyway, great fight :happy
This was one of those fights I just decided to let it go without scoring. I'm guessing it could've gone either way, and I was pulling for Vazquez so whatever rounds were close would've went to Vazquez subconsciously I guess. Great fight though!
Could have gone either way. No controversy IMO...the ref was great..both fighters were great. Vasquez finished stronger though.
I had it 113 - 112 for Marquez. The official score was fine by me.There were a few close rnd that could have gone either way. Great fight. NO CONTROVERSY!!!
I think for once judges did a decent job scoring a big fight. The fight was close. I wish it was a draw.
Vasquez won it in the last round with a legitimate knockdown. One can't criticize either fighter, they are both legends and warriors and their fights will be remembered as highlights of this decade. - Jason
I had it 114-111 Vazquez. But honestly WHO CARES!!! What a ****in fight!!! Quick question tho, HOW THE HELL DID THE ANNOUNCER HAVE IT A DRAW?!?!?!? Does he realize that that score is mathmatically impossible because of the deductions? He seemed a little TOO MUCH a fan of Raph tonight, didnt he?
one even round = draw but yea, he was on Marquez' sack little too much and then when he saw the press row scores he changed his tune a little. I'd like to see the official scorecards of this one.
I had Marquez up 113-112 but it could have went anyway and I have no problem with Vasquez getting the win.
I had Marquez by a point even with the knockdown, but I'm not made witht the decision. Vasquez finished like a champ. Great free fight :yep
