So even if you were say 8 or 9 probaly the youngest you could remember anything(not that would be much though surley),you would now be 89 and posting on here,so i guess its possable,but probaly impossable
I know John Garfield met Jack Dempsey as a kid with his dad, but that was obviously years and years after Jack had retired.
Dempsey didnt die that long ago, only 1983, So maybe people in there 40's and up had a shot to have a chat with a elder Dempsey. Kinda of like old gramps passing away some time in the 80's or so.
He fought a lot more times after 1927, there will be people alive who saw him fight that are not as old as 89, doubt they're on here though
