And not likely cognitively inclined to be posting on internet chat forums at this point.

Yeah I though Jeff looked pretty good for being 35 and fighting Johnson after that long layoff. I was sitting ringside and saw every inch of that six pack.

    How unlikely is it?

Jeffries's last fight was in 4th of july 1910.

    Common.

That was nearly 98 years ago, and in order for anyone to actually remember what happened, they had to be at least 7-10 years old, making them anywhere from 105-108 years of age today. What's more, how many 100+ year old adults do you think are posting on internet boxing forums? I couldn't answer that myself, but I doubt very many of them are doing it.

Yankee Sulivan* didn't have nothing to speak of either..but that ref should have stopped the fight. Caused lots of problems after that. They even made boxing illegal all over the land.
Morrison was a dammed good fighter, don't let no body tell you different. Smoke could bring it. Always wnated to see him and Poole go at it, but Poole was a bit past it.
    * First Champ not That young whipper snapper from Boston who lost fair and square to Patsy Cardiff, too. If you break your arm, you either fight it out or quit. That ref was bought. Let me tell you.

Well now I recolect, Yankee lost to the bigger Hayr. Yankee was actually only a middleweight when he wanted to be. Back before they ruined boxing with all these new weights. Why Lightweight, Middle and Heavy was good enough, as I keep saying.
That other fight where the fella died, why I recoleect it like it was the day before yesterday, it was back before the war...It was yesterday they blew up the Maine, right?
