I used to train Relson Gracie Brazilian Jiujitsu - but haven't since 2004. What did you want to know? Have you seen our thread on submissions yet? http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=145435
Very nice im right on the path to that I have my 3 black stripes and my coach said as long as I continue to work the way I have the last few months doing GI ill have it within this month possibly.
Nice bro. Ive been doing it for a while. i should be more advanced but i box as well and i train boxing more than i do BJJ. I do more Gi than No Gi though. I want to do more No-Gi to even it out.
yeah i have thanks. i thought we could all share our thoughts and experience and discuss belts, teachers, gyms, history, champions, techniques etc, i just got my blue belt after about four years of very uncommitted training and my level of interest and dedication is starting to rise rapidly. Im just starting to delve deeper into the sport and im learning alot. theres a whole world of things opening up and im finding it really seems to be more a way of life for some people
Well its not his school its an affiliate one of his Blackbelts John Rallo runs it. I met Renzo at a seminar back in April hes so freaking awesome and hilarious as ****.
You always told me that bro and now I understand. After just a couple of months with GI alot of my partners are like man your game is so much more techniqual as opposed to be scrambling around 95 percent of the time. Having someone pull on my GI has actually helped my posture so much now when im trying to posture out of Triangles in No Gi or just flat keeping good posture its beautiful now. I still will do my high pace scramble type game but now im not so relient on just that. Ill kick your ass in a techniqual chess battle now.
