Anyone here ever beat Mike Tyson in Punch Out?

I made it to him, but can't remember winning.

Hell no. I used the cheat code but I never beat tyson

 

I remember you had to time his uppercuts and counter, but if you get hit once and suddenly you're displayed all over the canvas!

 

yup. he had three different styles he would go into. avoiding his super left/right uppercuts was the hardest part for me. full disclosure : i had to train on an emulator before i got good enuf to beat him on a regular nes tho.

 

Fun fact, it was originally supposed to be a Muhammad Ali game. They had no idea what a Nintendo was and declined.
