Yeah it's one of the least talked about divisions, only Strawweight and Flyweight get less talk in the west at least. Because nobody talks about it, the fights are almost always good fights as the fighters feel they are forced to be exciting. They are kind of forced to showt hey have big power so they can move up to heavyweight. They also have to show good activity rates because if they do choose to move to heavyweight, they'll need activity to win fights there. Just goes to show, boxing fans are full of ****, they claim they want action fights with drama but the cruiserweight division produces a few fight of the year candidates consistently and the division gets ignored. I saw the Usyk talk but it's more about when he'll move up to heavyweight. I agree, there is a talent drain but the last crusierweight fight I saw, Gassiev vs Isiah Thomas was going to be a good one until the shot after the bell.

We're the least xenophobic country on the planet. That's not why cruiserweight isn't popular.

Rightfully so. It's always been a lame division with no fighters worth mentioning

    Agreed.

Just might be the most loaded division, too.

A few years ago it was really something.

Do you watch the news? Do you see what's going on in Europe? They throw bananas at their black athletes and hate crimes against Muslims double every year. Racist political parties that would be the equivalent of the KKK over here are major vote getters over there, and in one or two cases recently gained a majority. They are expelling refugees by the thousands like they did to Jews in the 30s, and anti-Muslim rallys attract tens of thousands. It looks like they are gearing up for another Holocaust or at least some Pogroms over there.

In Australia, they treat their aboriginal natives worse than America used to treat black people. Skinheads are running all over Russia. As for Asia, China and Japan don't let people of foreign ethnicities in. They're demographics are about 98 percent ethnically ****geneous. They've reduced the black population to novelty numbers. Go youtube Tokyo Breakfast a tv show from 2000. We haven't been able to get something as offensive as that on the air for about sixty years.

You can say we're xenophobic, and a few people are, but for the most part we still embrace diversity and immigrants like no other country.
