Anyone here give Chisora much chance of beating Vitali ?

I dont see him winning but I dont think he will do badly either.I think he will have a go and force a good show out of Vitali.

You're all forgetting that Chisora is black.. And thus has the potential to be slick, Chisora wide UD giving VK a taste of sweet sweet science.. And not a ****ing P.E degree or whatever Vitali has.

 

I am giving Chisora a chance, I think Vitali is on the slide, and fighting the Finn was excellent preparation for this. I think if Vitali has slowed down just enough then Chisora will be able to land bombs away and knock him out.

No, it will not be competitive. Chisora couldn't even beat Fury and Vitali is far superior. It doesn't matter that Vitali is an old man, because that old man has a very good work rate for a big guy and will make Chisora work. Can Chisora match that work rate for 12 rounds? Well, he gassed against Fury, and you never know what condition he will be in. Sports fans love to tell athletes when they are too old but time and time again these old men prove them wrong. They said Bernard was an old man before he fought Calzaghe. Hell, they said the same thing when he fought Pavlik. Vitali will become an old man to me when someone looks close to beating him. When was the last time someone gave him a good fight? People say he's getting old not because of what they see happen in the ring, but because of his number. Maybe they see things happen which are not really happening because subconsciously they believe a man his age should not be fighting the way he is.

Suppose Chisora turns up in the best condition of his life (which is very likely since this is the biggest fight of his career). He hasn't got the skill to consistently get past that jab, get on the inside and do some work. He will need to do it consistently because one shot will not do it. Against Wlad you could say he has a punchers chance because of Wlads punch resistance, but Vitali aint getting knocked out by Chisora (who's power is nothing special anyway) unless Chisora lands massive punches many, many times in the fight. That's extremely unlikely to happen, and even if it does Vitali will still probably not go down.

David Haye at least had speed, he had great power. Chisora doesn't have either, and the rest of his attributes are also average.

No chance, doesn't have anywhere near the power. Even if he gets into range occasionally which he has a decent chance of doing compared to most of the absolute bums Vitali has faced due to his upper body movement, he's still not got the power to do any damage at all. You've gotta figure 80% of the fight is dictated by Vitali and he had a good deal more power, it all adds up to a masscre. Sadly Chisora's best chance is a 'Byrd' victory.

Be interesting to see if Chisora can expose Vitali's waining power though.

 

I truly believe that at this stage of Vitali's career, Chisora is just the sort of opponent that he doesn't need. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Del Boy pushes him hard or even springs an upset.
