I know we are all Aussie and want our countryman to do well, but was there anyone here that was going for Cassa yesterday? The first fight of Cassa's i saw was in the first with Diego Coralles. After that war i was a fan of both. The first fight i had seen of Katsidis wasa 1 rd ko blowout on a kickboxing show, then the two wars last year. In this fight i wanted Kats to win the world title and be recognized as the champ, esp as he has more worldwide recognition than any of our boxers, probably long aside Sammy Soliman. But aside from that i wanted him to win to become champ, i found my self pulling for Cassa and happy he won, since the fact that i first watched him first and him being 36 and coming off a terrible performance and being picked to get ko'd. But even of Cassa lost i would have been happy Katsidis won, giving us a ring title. But i have to say i was pulling more for Cassa. (I'll probably get blasted but owell)
I hate Casa but thought he would win. I was really concerned about Rocky getting caught coming in and it became a reality from the get go. Joel is probably the least likable fighter in boxing today.
My heart went for Rocky but i bet on Joel...either way I was going to be happy...and it turned out to be a great fight...a real up and down war.
Yeah in the 1st i was like wtf:admin I just did not expect that straight away, i wasn't sure if Cassa would still have his power, ala the first Coralles fight. Yeah that was the same with me in the 3rd Vasquez - Marquez fight, i bet on Vasquez but my heart was going for Rafael, and same i bet on Pacman and my heart was for JMM. But imo FOTY right behind the Izzy-Rafa fight.
Nope lol.. I must say in other fights ive gone for him i dont mind the bloke as a fighter or person but it was all for Mick yesterday!
Yeah lol, one thing i don't like though is his manager, he always says what he wants not what Cassa is saying. He kept on answeing Kellerman's questions saying that he told Cassa to know Mick out, not saying what Cassa said.
