Anyone here seriously thinks Cotto can beat Geale?

I didn't think he could beat Martinez. Apparently, anything is possible these days when elite fighters show up in all kinds of terrible condition to fight.

Cotto crushes him by the 7th round.

I think Geale will win, he is a world level operator at middleweight and no disrespect to Cotto as a fighter as he was an elite level fighter at 140/147 but he is just too small to be a middleweight and I think he will be outworked by Geale, plus I would like to see Cotto lose as no one likes a diva and there are already too many of those types in the sport.

Geale said he finds it hard to make 160.

He was up around 168 a week ago. He's going to be drained away to nothing. He took this fight only to get paid.

I think Canelo can count himself quite fortunate to have won that match, I had Trout by a point.

Cotto is shot to ****, damaged goods with zero punch resistance, and yes.. he got embarrassed by Trout and almost got knocked out by Floyd Mayweather at 154 with clown gloves.

That still doesn't change the fact that he beats Geale.. if a shot midget WW beats Geale, that will make GGG's resume even more of a joke than it already is, that's why people want Geale to win instead of GGG moving up.. :rofl

GGG's resume has nothing to do with this. Boy, are you infatuated with Golovkin. No need for any fighter to move out of a weight class they are comfortable in.

Geale will be drained to nothing and will be ready for Cotto to stop him by round 6.

Lol, the man with Golovkin in his username is trying to claim that I'm infatuated with him? :nut

Of course it does, are you serious? The man's resume is about to be triumphed by a shot midget WW. You don't see a problem with that?

As a fan of GGG. I want him to test himself, fight elite competition and become a great.

The fact that you even try and compare Cotto and GGG is ****ing hilarious... :rofl

Didn't realize I was comparing Cotto and GGG. GGG can only fight those that will fight him. Cotto is a warrior and has fought all the big names. I'd like GGG to get the opportunity as well

I couldn't think of a better name for my user, it was KingDan when I joined the group in 2006 but since I became fan of GGG, I went with the name u see. Yes my name is Dan and I am a fan of Golovkin

Theorically, Cotto has no business with a legit middleweight like Geale is.

But, they wouldn't have picked the fight if they didn't manage to secure the victory somehow, and the weight draining will count.

I'm picking Cotto on points. Geale may even quit on his stool, vertical dive style.

I know we have this supposed "new Cotto" under Roach who is explosive and back to being an aggressive body puncher like at 140 but he beat Delvin Rodriguez so what and an injured Martinez

To me this fight proves whether or not Cotto is actually back to being a top fighter, he certainly appears that way but we haven't seen him pushed under Roach and I want to see if this style works at middleweight vs a true middleweight and former unified champion at that

I have been hard on Cotto and am a big Golovkin fan, I hope Cotto wins because I'd hate to see Geale have the title and have a Geale vs Golovkin 2 just for the sake of Golovkin getting the title

If Cotto wins at least we might get Canelo vs Cotto because I don't think Cotto will ever fight Golovkin then again I didn't think Cotto would fight a guy like Geale

Should be a good fight I figure its no walk in the park for either guy

Geale has a hard time making 160, Cotto is 1/5 favorite for a reason.

Referee, judges and even commentators will be firmly on Cotto's pockets and **** respectively

so ofc he can win an UD as long as he makes it to the final bell

it's no coincidence they picked a pillowfisted fighter like Geale for this phony defense
