I'm based here in Montreal and I recently signed up to a boxing gym; and I'm getting some bag work in. It's all cool here. Fighters like Dierry Jean, Jean Pascal and David Lemieux train at the gym where I train. So it's cool to see these guys come to the gym from time to time.

Are you a member of a boxing gym?

Really? Why do you say that?
Unless this thread was moved from another section.

Yes, but a regular one (regular people and amateur competitors). Nothing fancy but pretty good technique and physical state are developed here.

I go to my local gym for general training and entering into comps. This week I went to a gym on the other side of the city for one session, only because the trainer their used to spar Golovkin and Proksa. It was good, different training style than I am used to, maybe not better than my current trainer, just different. I would love to be able to find the time to go their more often but work gets in the way.

I've decided then to stick with the training schedule at my current gym (which is right on my door step) and from time to time have some private sessions in this other gym.
