Anyone here think Barrera would have had a better than average chance of beating Khan

More likely was mab getting knocked out, how about that.

Khan wasn't even close to legitimately stopping Barrera even with blood covering his eye, good luck with that theory.

mab was hurt plenty, if your saying khan was wobbled, clearly you could see mab hurt during the 5 rounds.

Barrera was getting hit with a barrage of punches and he was forced back. Never did he look like he was about to be stopped and he didn't even have 100% vision. It's clear Khan is not a puncher.

Khan's legs were stiffening from single shots.

Having seen all that, trying to imagine the fight without a cut I'd still favour Khan of course, but on points. It helps when you can see shots coming.

I don't care either way but theres no way MAB was going to last the distance IMHO. He was getting backed up and was second to the punch from the offset and it was only a matter of time. If he's got any sense he'll take this as a sign and retire.

Genuinely reckon MAB would have been KO'd had the fight gone on longer... cut or no cut.

Cut or no cut, Khan was out boxing Barrera he was much much faster than Barrera. Barrera just could get his punches off. Speed and movement have always bothered Barrera. The cut as someone said just spoiled Khans victory.

Shame about the cut as it totally ruined the fight, but lets face it, at the end of the day its Warren's modern day version of the Calzaghe/Eubank match up, minus the WBO belt - which they were very much asking for this fight but didn't get it.

In a way its good to see people getting wise to the antics.

Seriouslt though, im not saying that MAB would have definately KO'ed what looked like a sharp Khan, but this performance needs to be judged on its merits. Barrera genuinely couldnt see out of his lead/jabing eye and it should have being stopped earlier.

Does anyone think that MAB wouldnt have being in it for the long haul only for the cut? Coure he would have being, even n the 4th Khan was tentitive and MAB would have had decent spells.

The outcome is impossible to predict, the cut ruined the fight for me but it happened this way and im just happy that Khan won and he is blown up to the public more so it will be funnier when the second comming of the 10 count happens:lol:
