Anyone here think Jeff Horn deserved the decision against Pacquiao?

As I've observed before, chicks can't score and this **** scored Rungvisai vs Chocolatito that year too.

Pac in the dressing room immediately after the fight. Where's the damage from all the punishment and effective aggression that Horn was dishing out?

 

No. Boxing disagreements happen for four reasons: intelligence, observation, bias, and scoring criteria. I think a lot of people in this case see how aggressive and active Horn was, but they are missing the fact that almost everything he does gets caught on an elbow, a glove, or just misses completely and then Pac who is more defensive would whack him with short accurate shots, which they probably didn't even see.

Regarding Rungvisai and Gonzalez. I've acknowlegedged that Rungvisai hits harder, but he doesn't hit twice as hard as Gonzalez. If the scores were closer like they were between Pernell Whitaker and Oscar De La Hoya where it's a matter of about ten punches, with Whitaker leading in jabs and De La Hoya leading with power punches, then yeah give it to De La Hoya even though he landed a few fewer. But we are talking about a 157 point deficit here. Gonzalez put on a clinic landing 43% of his punches. If you won't give a guy rounds for landing nearly 2 to 1 on his opponent, then what's he ****ing doing there? You're basically giving the lighter hitting fighter no way to win no matter what skill he displays.

So according to that, you are wrong. Most people didn't score the fight for Rungvisai in the RBR. Gonzalez got nearly twice as many votes as Rungvisai in the RBR.

 

PAC took some rounds off, and Horn wrestled and pushed him around a bit. Other than that, Pac paint brushed his face at will. The fight was damn near stopped from the punishment Horn was taking.

 

Are you serious? Lol. Round 9 was a massacre for Pac. Horn got his damn face beat in by repeated left hands. If you scored that for Horn...I'm at a loss.

 

Glad I'm consistent though! Tsyzu got cheated and so did Pac. Straight facts.

 

It was a close fight, Pacquiao took a lot of rounds off and allowed Horn to take them. In the rounds Pacquiao won, he dominated, however Horn was punching whilst Pacquiao was posing. I forget my scorecard, it will be on the rbr however it wasn't a robbery either way.

A mixed bag, I was there but turns out I didn't score it. I didn't witness a robbery that night that's for sure, I feel Atlas was way off with his assessment and that tainted a deserved victory for Horn.

 

This thread has confirmed and made me feel even better about Horn winning and how i scored it with so many of the forums most knowledgeable posters and top RBR scorers either agreeing with the result or the obvious that it was a close fight that could have gone either way.
It's no surprise to see on the opposite side so many of the sites biggest trolls throwing around all kinds of lies and insults about the result and towards anybody that dares not agree that it was a robbery and/or that Horn should have been DQ'd,not to mention a laundry list of excuses and unfounded accusations of corruption leveled at the location,the ref and officials and originally also said that Horn only beat a shot version of Pacquio.

 

We all know it was due to Horn's perfect record and the judges thinking Pacquiao was at the end of his career retiring soon anyway.

 

Facts!

 

It is really quite simple, hometown fighter gets away with fouls in his hometown. So explain to us why it was okay for Horn to cheat and foul but not okay for Hatton to do the same?
