Anyone here think Jeff Horn deserved the decision against Pacquiao?

    I remember that it didnt look a robbery to me. Close fight, that's all. Horn won, well, if pac wanted to win then he should have done more, easy as that, I remember too that pac didnt do **** half of the fight.

    As I said, no problem with Horn winning.

    I think the decision going to Horn was probably about right, the judges can only work with what the ref said and allowed in the ring - and seeing as he was allowed to foul all night to gain advantageous situations the judges can only score him keeping the edge overall.

    The issue I have is the ref allowed WAY too much dirty work and Horn should have been warned and/or had points deducted throughout that fight - if he had done a competent job then the outcome would have been different.

    Close fight, cards were fine. The broadcasts not headed by an alzheimer sufferer reflected this. Commoners are easily lead and Pac has a billion fans.

    Yes, and I'm not the only one. Here's the scores a of a few of the more reputable scorers on the site. The only two decent scorers that gave it to Pac was Pinoy and Drew, and they only had it 115-113 and 114-113 or him.

    Horn

    @rorschach51 @Chuck Norris @f1ght3rz @Badbot @Drinquor @JordanK2406 @George Crowcroft @KO KIDD @pistal47 You're all solid scorers, I'd like to hear your 2 cents.

    You guys saying it was close are blind and cannot count. 182 to 92 punches landed. Pac landed more punches in 11 rounds landed more power shots in 10. The only way it gets any clearer is with a knockout.

    Horn won if it's a bar room brawl. Good use of head, elbows, headlocks, clinching, holding and hitting etc. You can see he was trying similar tactics against Zerafa but they weren't as effective because the size/strength advantage isn't there. His bum brother also uses similar tactics so it's definitely something they work on in camp.

    No.

    Not the worst decision of that year though.

    Pac looked old and Horn fought to 120% of his ability. Form we hadn't seen before and haven't seen since, nor I think we ever will again.

    Remember the other day when they were all creaming their pants for Campbell, saying he was beating Lomachenko? Same thing. Doing better than most, better than expected, is not the same as winning.

    It's one of the few things I disagree with CST80 on.Used to be this and Joshua but he bloody well came good on Joshua.
    I'd be interested to see his RBR to see if he scored it for Horn?I had it wide for Pac but I can see how those Wardesque stinkeroo rounds could be scored for Horn.
    Couldn't help but think Bob Arum did a dirty on him.

    Well. I'm just call calling it how it is that's the difference. Besides being completely exposed and all he's irrelevant so there's not much to fuel my hate boner for him anymore. Just enjoying the aftermath and the triggered fanboys.
