I was just wondering how different it felt training at the PAL then a boxing gym or if it is better to train at a boxing gym. I have always trained at the PAL so i dont know how it is to train at a boxing gym. Basically what i am asking is can i get good training to improve a lot at the PAL?

Training at a boxing gym is the same as the PAL, except the gym will probably charge you a lot more.

    Wasn't Kronk basically a PAL/commuinty center establishment?

never been to one but i would imagaine GREATLY that if there r going to be a lot of police officers there they're gonna have the biggest egos in the world thinking they could bench press the earth and they could fight 20 ppl at the same time type ****

There was not one police officer at the PAL when I went there.
Okay, there was one retired cop, he ran the office there.

PAL gyms are just the same as any other gyms with the exeption it's just boxing. They are usually ran by a cop a a retired one and the trainers are volunteers and many succesful American fighters came out of these gyms. When I fought out of PAL it was just $30 a year for the price of the card now called the pass book.
