Hatton should be eating a healthy of dose of uppercuts come December 8th.

Floyd will once again show why he's the best fighter on the planet.

lol to mayweather stopping anyone in the second round especially hatton. If anyone gets stopped in this fight its mayweather or it will go to the cards with floyd winning a decision.

Wow, for Mayweather fans to parallel Hatton with Gatti.....:-(

.....they're in for a true awakening come the opening minutes on fightnight.

Its a pickem fight imo. I believe that the suffocating pressure that Hatton will apply will wear down Mayweather down the stretch.
My question is whether Mayweather will have won enough rounds in the beggining, and have enough staying power after being pushed for the full 12 rounds to cross the finish line.

I'm someone that would rate Mayweather at this very moment the best p4p fighter in the world......but imo Hatton has the right style to force Mayweather away from what he does best.

Its not out of the question imo that Hatton is going to wear down Mayweather and just beat him down in the late stretch of the fight.....
....if that happens, and I believe its a true possibility, there are going to be some upset Mayweather fans around here that are going to be in total shock enough to not show themselves around here again.

Hatton is a top flight fighter we're talking about here.
Mayweather fans are in total denial to rate Hatton at the depths of Arturo Gatti who was really a little bit better than a glorified journeyman.

Personally I will be shocked if Mayweather came anywhere close to dominating or manhandling Hatton.
Mayweather fans shold get a grip and deal and come to the realization that Hatton is a true threat....because they're in for a ude awakening come fight time, rude awakening!!!

Divac, nice Avatar of Handsome Jim Plunkett. Remember when he was washed up and supposedly never going to amount to anything? Then he won two superbowls!!!!! Never underestimate the heart of a great competitor. As of now I am picking Floyd but stranger things have happened. The result in order of likelyhood:

    1) Floyd wins a tough fight. He gets nailed more than many expect but keeps his composure and boxes his way to a decision.

    2) Floyd wins a tough fight by TKO from cutting up Hattons face.

    3) Hatton, comes forward like a small Marciano and imposes his will on Floyd, surprising people with how much he's able to land with his perceived caution to the wind style. Hatton takes him out in the late rounds with a TKO

    4) Floyd's speed advantage is way more than Hatton can handle and he boxes his way to a relatively easy decision.

    5) Hatton outhustles and outguns Floyd to a decision.

    6) Floyd TKO's Hatton in round 7.

I'm rooting for Hatton, but I think he's got a 1/3 chance of winnning

So you're saying Hatton at 140 punches harder to the body then Delahoya at 154??? And Floyd backed Delahoya up a few times so go watch the fight. We'll see when Floyd taxes that ass

Dude when the hell does Hatton come in behind his jab? Are you crazy? He throws looping wide hooks. Kostya is not Floyd Mayweather.. Kostya needed extension to hurt Hatton so hatton crowded him.. Floyd is one of the best boxers in the game if not the best so all that wont work. You're insane

A pickem fight in your opinion? You're opinion is garbage obviously! LOL@ YOU. Hatton is no threat to Floyd at all.. His only hope is to hold the whole fight which I'm sure he'll be doing alot of.

Either you watch Hatton fight with your eyes closed, or your analytical ability is exceptionally poor. Kostya is a big 140 pound fighter who CAN punch and Hatton backed him up. But somehow Floyd, A DEFENSIVE COUNTER PUNCHER is going to fight him on the front foot. ROFL. Love your work.

Obviously analyzing previous fights and providing a prediction based on this is far beyond your limited mental capacity. The idea of the thread is to establish how the fight will play out by using your boxing knowledge. If you can't manage this then stay off the thread.

I like your post. Whilst I think Floyd will still win by a few rounds, I think Hatton can certainly make Floyd uncomfortable on the inside by smothering him and staying on the inside. I think that Hattons workrate may open himself up to Floyds counters at times, especially on the way in, but at other times he will outwork him from the inside by sitting right on his chest.
