Theres probably something in making Calzaghe look better that makes me want to see Kessler win. However the main reason is Frochs 'delightful' personality.

I don't even mind his personality or declarations, per se, that much. But in the context of him being 30 and a half, having not fought anyone in the Top 20 yet, his declarations are strange to say the least.

Nope, I'd be hoping for a brutal KO.

I dont have a problem with Froch telling the world how great he is.

However I will require him to deliver huge now that he has run his mouth off.

Tell you what, if Froch goes after Kessler after dispatching Inkin, I will take back all the non-complimentary (yet true) stuff I've said about him, and will give him much praise, since he must have changed A LOT...doesn't have to beat Kessler, just get into the ring with him.:good

I think it's Bute who's running scared of Kessler rather than Froch  If Bute really believes his own hype, why doesn't he offer to fight Kessler - who's looking for an opponent and would jump at the chance - instead of fighting bums like Joppy for as long as possible so he can keep the belt without being challenged by anyone vaguely dangerous?

    Just curious like.

    I think you're misininformed.

Bute said he wasn't ready to fight boxers of the quality of Calzaghe or Kessler after these two fought last November. Two weeks ago, Bute said he hoped he will have developed and improved sufficiently by next spring to face someone as good as Mikkel Kessler.

"If Bute really believes his own hype..." :huh When did Bute EVER hype himself, to any extent?:huh :huh :huh

Bute needs time to develop and improve if he is to have a chance of being the man in the division. His team have said 2008 would be used to allow him to improve and develop as much as possible...

All Bute fans are disappointed with Joppy as a choice of opponent...but there wasn't one much better available, except Kessler. for who, Bute said he wasn't ready. :deal

However, Bute will lose quite a few fans if he doesn't step it up after Joppy, including, probably myself, depending on the circumstances.

This thread seems to be more a case of anti-Froch than pro-Kessler.

I plead guilty to that, although, usually, I am very pro-Kessler and just a bit anti-Froch!:p
