In fantasy match ups it is often said that Vitali would have a better chance against a certain fighter because of his superior chin but is their anyone from history who you thing Wlad would have a better chance against then Vitali
comes down to many things, who you think has the size and durability to go 12 rounds with vitali and win, yet not the boxing skills needed and the power to outbox or knock out wlad...
Maybe, Holmes. Wlad, like Larry has a very good, fast and accurate power left jab. Wlad's also quicker on his feet than his older brother even though Vitali is very elusive too. Holmes didn't have devastating power so I think a Wlad-Holmes fight would be a great matchup between two excellent boxers. Wlad has two-fisted power and Larry had good power but a better chin. I think Holmes would beat Vitali as I think he would overcome Vitali's awkward style. He'd figure it out as great a boxer as he was.
I think holmes would UD Vitali, but can you see him being outworked and outjabbed by wlad?he would definitely not be knocked out thats for sure! holmes was an excellent jabber
I think any time you've got someone who fits the mold of a mover/slickster/pure boxer and that fighter doesn't pack a huge punch (that style of fighter rarely does), the odds will be better for Wlad than they would be for Vitali. Doesn't mean Vitali still wouldn't win, but that particular style matches up horribly vs Wlad.
I think Wlad matches up better against Ali than Vitali. Saying that I think Ali still finds a way to outpoint both.

Actually, I picked Wlad over Vitali in a boxing match against Holmes precisely because Wlad might well knockout Larry due to Wlad's quick hands and two-fisted power. Reynoldo Snipes nearly K.o'ed Holmes in their fight. Holmes was down and barely beat the count. Wlad has much more power and punch variety than Snipes and like Holmes has good outside boxing ability and a great jab. Of course Holmes could well K.O. Wlad but little bro seems to only go down against very hard punchers like Sanders, not bothered as much by fluid boxer types like Holmes. I think it would be a great back and forth boxing match.

hmm would be interesting, i dont see holmes knocking wlad out thats for sure, especially the way wlad fights now.. but because of that i dont see him taking the risks and knocking out holmes.. but sure its a toss up between who would outbox each other, but i guess your right, wlad by close UD or MD
