He's good. He's really smart, he's a Penn State grad. He was National Golden Gloves champion this year, I'll post a video of him.

Dibella made a wise move with this guy. He's going to be a very marketable fighter.

Where in MT do you live? I'm good friends with the ferguson family in billings and they are boxing fanatics. Dax owns a business there; i think he's 71 now, and he's a walking boxing historian. Could tell you any obscure tidbit about any fighter who ever lived. His dad was a prizefighter by the name of chick ferguson who wrote a book about the northwest territories, and he has a son that's gearing to go pro in Vegas. If your in the area you should stop and see his collection of fight pics. There's used to be a bar in Laurel I believe called "sonny's". It's closed down now, and they are thinking what to do with it. It was owned by a fighter Sonny O'Day. In there, there is pictures from all the past greats, autographs, and a ring Sonny used to hold exhibitions in. It's almost like a boxing museum. Hopefully someone buys it up and restores it. Amazing piece of American history.

I just can't believe Tor signed with Dibella. It's kinda funny; this is an instance of the fighter being smarter than the promoter.

I know Sonny's. I live in Bozeman actually, I don't know the Ferguson's though...I don't think I do anyway. Billings' clubs are kinda closed down and inactive right now; now the most active clubs in the state are my club in Bozeman, Helena (they sent a guy to the Olympic Trials in 07) and Great Falls. But yeah, I've heard a lot about Sonny's, my coach told me about it. There's talk of a smoker being held in Laurel in December, maybe that'll be the venue.

I grew up in Belgrade, which is pretty much a part of Bozeman at this point since the area has expanded so rapidly. Butte has some rich history too. Actually the whole state, even Shelby because of the Dempsey fight.

Oh cool. Yeah, Belgrade just started a club too; the sport is making a comeback in MT now. That's pretty cool you're from the Valley, man. Yeah, it's expanding super fast, by 2020 I think they expect the population of the greater Bozeman area to be 95,000 or so. When was the last time you were back? Did you go to Belgrade High? Butte just had a club restart this past year too, and they have a lot of kids in it; don't know if you know the Lecoures but that's who runs the show over in Butte. It's good to have Butte boxing again, they host some shows and it's more boxers overall now. It's kinda died out in Eastern MT but Western MT is fairly active now; some clubs on the Blackfoot rez as well. Far cry from the days of Todd Foster though.

Last time I lived in Belgrade I was 8 before I moved up to Alaska so it was along time ago. But i'm in Billings usually 1-2 months a year because all my family is down there. There's been some good fighters out of Billings and the area. My friend Ben Aragon from there fought Andre Ward a few years back. There's alot of talent around MT and the northwest actually. And my bud Tory Ferguson is probably one of mt's best amatuers of recent memory. He's turning pro in a couple months down in vegas. Really skilled guy; devastating puncher and the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He tells me all the stories of things happening at Top Rank.

I don't know Tory. Where did he box out of? Our best amateur these days is a kid from Helena, Duran Caferro; he went to the trials and is a beast these days. I know Ben Aragon, I think he was supposed to fight another friend of mine, Jesse Vallejo.

Tory boxed out of billings. Not sure what gym. You could probably find info of him on usba. When were Ben and Jesse supposed to fight?

Oh, a while back, some time ago in 07 I think. Things fell apart I suppose, don't know what happened exactly.
