    How is his eye?

Does he plan to fight again?

Great question, I use to message him on myspace every month or so, and I would usually get something back from him in a week or so, saying he's doing good and still training waiting for my management to find me a oppenent. The last time I heard from him was about 2 and half months ago, he told me was coming back to fight sometime in the summer hopefully, When I asked him if would consider changing trainers? He told me he was comfortable with Buddy and that anyone else wouldnt work for my style, I told him Freddie Roach would be a perfect fit for him, but he never answered me back.

Thanks for the update. I just hope his eye is all right more than anything, though it would be good to see him in the ring again.

Same here, he was my favorite fighter for the longest time, I even perdicted he would beat Wlad the first time they fought in April of 04, which was probably the biggest chance I ever took on a perdiction.

In a way I would love to see Lamon back in action, but I'm afraid his warrior type mentality is a thing of the past, and like most fighters, he will stay in the fight game for the money. Anyone that has seen Brewster over the last 10 years or so, knows the man's defense is his head, which I'm sure will end with him having some type of brain damage before his career is over.

I hope Brewster stays outside the ring. He's given us some memorable wars and exciting knockouts, but he's also taken too much punishment. I wish him all the best - a true heavyweight warrior.

He ought to hang them up, then. If Wladdy becomes an ATG of some kind, then Brewster has a huge legacy of beating him for a title and having a credible, exciting reign.

    Why risk the damage.

Brewster is probably saying to himself that he should have had Don King to take care of his fight as before.

Exactly, but Peter is so protected you won't see this fight. Pete likes to fight the old guys.
    Valuev,Chagaev,Virchis,Tua,Byrd, Ibrag,Povetkin would all beat Pete.:bart

I agree with this. I am picking Oleg to beat him, and I think that Juan Carlos Gomez, Eddie Chambers, and a number of others would do it.

I four world class fights, Sam Peter has had 1 outright win, 1 outright loss, two asterix wins, and no knockouts. He is small, fat, has good but wildly overrated chin and power, he is slow, and has very little in the way of boxing ability.

I have not seen such an overrated bum snce Tommy Morrison.

Sam Peter is by no means "small" and I would give him a good 70% chance to KTFO Lamon Brewster. Anytime, anywhere.

He is certainly not big by today's standards.

Allright, he is is not small. He is merely fat, slow, lacking in boxing skill, with wildly overrated chin and power.

I am not sure how much Lamon has left, but the Brewter who gutted it out against Klit and Krasiniqi would have levelled Peter.

Yeah ok, thats why test results came back negative of any foreign substance in Wlad's body after the fight, he even apologized to Lamon for the mistake.

Wlad had a history of gassing out in fights, against purrity, and even his win over Mercer, which his face was turning blue in the 3rd or 4th round, even Lampley pointed it out.

Maybe a farewell fight would be a good idea.

But despite his reputation for a heavy punch and solid jaw, I would be really concerned about that eye. He's had issues with it for years now and you can never be 100% from that.

Real danger of picking up something nasty like a permanently detached retina or even possible blindness if he keeps on taking blows to the side of the head...like he normally does even when he wins...
