    Or Anyone have a newspaper description on this? I have a clipping from a paper about the fight result, but never a description how it happened

    Yes Joe Louis knocked out Valdez in 1 round in the live exhibition. Exhibitions back then were anything but jokes, watch louis vs valentino on youtube exhibition 1950 louis tears into valentino, knocks him out cold. Since many of louis exhibitions were on film, i wonder if this one is filmed. Louis also knocked out rex layne in 6 rounds in there exhibition.
