To me, that was more in line with what boxing is suppose to be. It is more in line with what these guys will experience if they turn pro. I feel the newer rules, use of headgear, increased emphasis on amount of touches with the scoring portion of gloves, more referee interference, etc. has taken away from the sport. International and Olympic boxing seems to have been watered down over the years, so much so, I'll only watch the semi's and finals of the Olympics.
