"In the end, they worked it out last week with Pacquiao due to receive 52 percent to Hatton's 48 percent, according to Arum." - writes Dan Rafael.

Also, Pacquiao is getting a $12M minimum, which is not guaranteed to Hatton, and Arum is paying million from his personal purse, so you can say Pacquiao will make more money no matter what.

Final numbers of course will come after the fight and PPV, but they won't go public with the final purses. Why would they?

Why do you think it's 50/50 if the promoters says it's 52/48? Did u see the contract?

I don't think there will be much in it to be honest. You have to factor out probably 1.2 - 1.4m PPV buys from the UK, there is no way that Pac-PBF will be PPV here.

Hatton's lawyer Gareth Williams said they had never deviated from the 50-50 split on the prize money agreed in the original deal.
"The reality was the actual negotiations were relatively straight forward," he said.
"But at this time last week the fight was not going to take place.
"We never wavered from what was agreed. We didn't want to take anything away from Manny but we also recognised what Ricky brings to the table and as far as we are concerned Ricky is an equal contributor to this fight."

It was in Boxing News Magazine too

No, and neither have you. I wouldn't believe Arum no matter what he said...the man is a congenital ****ing lying machine. Hattons management say 50/50 and thats who I believe- what Arum has promised Munchklin on the side is another matter.

I really cant see how that works.Where does that extra money come from?Hatton and Pac both have huge fanbases to bring in the revenue;-Floyd,great as he is,doesnt; He needs his opponents fanbases for a major event.
You take one guy out of this equation, replace him with Floyd and its a bigger fight? How?

Tend to agree here, I reckon the split is gonna be 50-50 no matter what Arum or Pac says.

Arum and Pac would say they got the 52%, its a moral victory. Still, Hatton was the one who called their bluff ultimately (and won) in that ridiculous saga over money.
