I don't really understand what the odds are or how they work, but who can tell me, according to the bookies and others in the know, who's favored to win and by how much? I may put a bet down.
here in the uk it is: mosely 13/9 vs cotto 8/11 so according to the uk bookies cotto is the favourite.
Again, pardon my ignorance here, but what do the numbers mean? Does the 13/9 and 8/11 mean that if I bet on 13 on Mosely to win, and he does, then I just get back nine? That can't be right. Can someone explain it to me? Thanks in advance.
sorry a bit late now with my answer. it means if you bet 9 you would get 13 back plus your 9 stake. so 13/9 = 1.44 multiplyed by your stake plus your stake miney back. the 8/11 means if you bet 11 you would get 8 back plus your stake of 11
