Mike Walker isn't a tomato can specifically when you consider his opponent. Jacobs' progression and the fact they he had a fight a week ago leads me to believe this will at least go the distance.

Soto, Lara and Korobov are all going up against guys with sketchy chins who they're designed to knock out early, and Jacobs is going up against a short slugger who's naturally in a smaller weight class and whose best win is over a shot to **** Antwun Echols.

Edit: I guess there's a little bit of suspense there, since Jacobs had some problems with that type in the amateurs. The only time he's been knocked down was against Shawn Porter, who knocked him out.

Walker and Gaudet aren't officially cans, but they're not threats either. Walker is mostly designed to get Jacobs rounds, I think, but then again, he's already knocked out a bunch of guys who had never been down before so there's a chance that trend might continue. Gaudet's a decent boxer from what I've heard, but he's never faced anyone of Soto's caliber, and he has a KO1 loss on his record.

Luevano vs Concepcion was supposed to be on the card, but one of them got hurt and the fight was replaced by putting Lara's and Korobov's 4-rounders on the televised card.

Bernabe is on the card but the untelevised portion.

I was extremely upset with HBO allowing an undercard to go a combined six minutes (still am)....so IF HBO was smart, I'd have Conception on stand by in case that happens again.

It's tough to save a walk-off bout for a main event this big.

Sounds like the undercard is going to be a little disappointing, but with such a main event of this, it's hard to truly give a damn. Roll on Saturday night.

I hear ya but compare it to last December when HBO had to stretch their program to reach the 11 o clock time slot for the main event.

IF (IF) the Hatton-Pac undercard begins to run quick (and there's a chance that it will with Korobov and Lara likely to own their opponents in relatively quick time, they better have something planned other than Lampley and Steward trying to stall for an hour and a half.

They should have done a better one of course but the main event is too good for me to complain.
