what the hell is this guys game, hatton fight he was all over hatton would not let him attempt to clinch or wrestle, told him and PBF to break every five seconds, so why last night was he allowing hopkins to use alot of rough stuff and clinching?

Your guess is as good as mine. Cortez was a disgrace in the Mayweather/Hatton fight, and his 'performance' last night was considerably short of what is expected from a top referee

I can't believe he never took a point form Hopkins, he used way more illegal tactics than Ricky did and Cortez showed his bias lats night

It is very bizarre how polar Cortez's decisions were over the two fights, is it not a coincidence that B-Hop and Mayweather are in with Golden Boy and the correlation of Cortez's judgement?

I don't see what the problem is. He broke up the clinches in both fights. That's what you're supposed to do when there is a clinch.
