You're a moron. He was moving up in weight and guess what? Martinez can look AMAZING sometimes even against good fighters. He clearly wasnt ready for the speed and skills of Martinez and he got his ass whooped it happens. And Dzindirik was actually starting to get into the fight and had his best round in the 7th before Martinez landed a peach of a left hand that pretty much ended the night for him. You should watch fights a little more closely if you wanna sound smart.

I guess Barrera was exposed vs Pacquiao.:patsch

Barrera had numerous wins over legitimiate challengers/future hof's/atgs

Dzinzurak had a padded record filled with mostly no hopers

    It's a bit different

Still spending his payday from the Martinez fight. Only idiots thought he was one of the best middleweights before that fight. Most of us knew it was just another cherrypick for Sergio's paper-title reign.

Oh BTW in case you havent noticed Martinez is amazing vs southpaws and punches with way more power and lands cleaner shots then vs right handers. Look at his fights with Cintron, Pavlik and Barker. For the most part in those fight Martinez just throws flurries to score points rarely does he land great left hands like against Williams and Dzindiruk. Against Cintron he landed the nice left in the 9th but that was nothing like the punches he knocks guys out with and honestly he didnt look THAT great in this fight even though he clearly won. Against Pavlik he never landed a thudding shot and never has Pavlik hurt even though Pavlik is pretty easy to hit and Martinez hit him easily he never really tried to land a big shot against him. Martinez looked great in the beginning and end of the fight but in the middle Pavlik came on and Martinez didnt look so great. But in the end a great preformance all around. Barker he looked terrible rarely landed clean flush shots and when he did they had no big power behind them. Even the KO shot looked like nothing.

Now look at his 2 fights with Williams and Dzindiruk.... Two southpaws with comeplete opposite styles yet Martinez handled them both.

Agree but that wasnt the point. The point was any fighter can get completely dismantled no matter how great they are. Just because Dzindiruk got the breaks beat off of him by Martinez doesnt mean he has no skills and is a bum. You can watch his fights vs anyone the man is supremely skilled.

    yeah.

He was good light middleweight we might have little over rate him but his only loss even brutal was against undisputed middleweight champion of the world.

How dare someone calling him a bum. that is wrong:-(

A paper title reign? Even tho Sergio beat the man who beat the man who beat the man?? You know, the ****ing Lineal champion?? :patsch:patsch

This "cherrypick" had almost everyone believing he would make Sergio look bad, win or lose...Guess what? Sergio destroyed him and looked good doing it.

    Stop watching boxing, noob.

i wanna see dzin fight again . im not going to jump to conclusion like most of you are. i seen him fight 2 times . he fought a lower rankin guy and jabbed his face off on showtime wasnt impressive because he fought a guy he suppose to do that to. then he jumped way up competition for martinez. simply bad managment on his part settin him up for failure. he should have stayed at 154 n fought in the states n he could of got paid. he could have for example angulo or p will at 154

Dzinziruk beat a number of good fighters, and having seen a lot of his older fights, none of them were even arguably robberies. I can see the arguments for Sturm, Stieglitz and Braehmer, but Dzinziruk actually dominated the tougher competition he faced, when management let him.

    1) He's older now and slowed down even before the Martinez fight
    2) He was coming off of years of inactivity due to promotional issues other than the Dawson fight
    3) He did beat prime Santos (not the horribly out of shape version Foreman fought), Konecny, Bayram, Julio and Lujan, all of whom were around top 10 at the time, and Santos was consensus #3 at the time.

Martinez would have been a bad style matchup even for prime Dzinziruk, but he'd probably still box circles around a more straightforward fighter like Kirkland or Canelo.
    3)

Nice, never really knew exactly how good he was, found it hard to find many videos of him prior to his fight with Martinez but the overall consensus at the time was he was going to be of some technical difficulty for Martinez.

I'd definately like to see him back in the ring. He adds a nice bit of depth to the division and there are definately some good match ups out there for him.

There is absolutely no shame in losing to Martinez. The guy is an athletic phenom and is probably THE biggest threat to Mayweather right now.
