Anyone Know Why Josh Taylor Wasn't docked Points for Repeatedly Hitting after the bell?

There were several rounds at the end where Taylor was so fired up and at times out of sheer malice continued to throw full combinations after the bell.

There was one round in particular where it seemed as if he was fighting a full round straight after the bell and I was expecting the ref to pull him up on it but surprisingly it did not happen.

Surely if the ref did his job, the judges scorecards would show a total different story to the outcome.

 

If he kept on hitting after the bell after each round, you can bet your behind that he would have got a warning at the very least, then eventually docked points.

This wasn't just a 1-2 either, this was a full 4-5 f punch street fighter combinations Taylor was throwing many seconds after the bell.

I was shocked the ref had nothing to say and neither did the commentary team, but not surprised.

 

Yes it definitely was around 3 times, the first time it happened you could give him the benefit of the doubt because Regis was also guilty of getting carried away but they both immediately stopped shortly after the ref stepped in

The second and third time was a complete free for all as if the full round was going to continue on after the bell.

Josh Taylor did very well to turn it around in the middle stage of the fight but had there been a competent ref who disciplined him he would rightly have deserved to lose the fight on points for the multitude of illegal blows after the bell which actually landed and caused damage to Regris

Prograis can take heart that he deserved at the very least a draw, were it not for the corruption taking place.

 

And the referee never once did warn Josh Taylor about the excessive holding, smothering and use of his forearms to spoil Prograis' work.

 

So if it's a big fight, that gives fighters free licence to break the rules and hit continuously after the bell?

 

Josh Taylor conducted himself prior to and during the fight like a hooligan thug.

 

Show me a fight footage where a boxer has hit after the bell 3 times in the same fight and not been at least warned, taken a point from.

I'll save you the time and trouble, by telling you now it doesn't exist because it has never happened before ever.
