Ward wasn't even all that dirty. He was rough and aggressive in close , but he rarely broke the rules.

man i don’t know what you want ? Tag boxing? Jab only? Elite level, hyper-competitive, ego driven, money on the line....this stuff has, will and always will happen.

Two butts , one looked accidental , the other i can understand was a headbutt. It was no more than 10 seconds of his career. The rest of the video is meaningless.

I don't see flagrant headbutts happening in every boxing fight where the ref willfully ignores it

No one has argued that these things don't happen. The argument is when they do happen the ref usually has a job to do and that's to dock points unless they have an agenda.

Jack Reiss was the official for that Andre Ward vs Kessler fight and he's as corrupt as they come.

RP travelled to fight in Josh Taylor's country and he is up against two men in the ring.

You may enjoy watching one man cheat their way to victory, but call me old fashioned but when watching a competitive sport I like to see both men fight on an even playing field without any illegal advantages.

There's an entire montage throughout Ward's career of him butchering his opponents with elbows, low blows and biilly goat headbutts.

The man was a serial cheat when he needn't have been one just so he could say he was undefeated.

He could have taken his deserved losses honorably and still be considered great.

i do not. However if one ref is incompetent/on the pay roll, I enjoy seeing a fighter man up and start rough housing back. Otherwise it’s only gonna go one way

Watch the rest of the video, he forearmed/elbow smashed Bika right in front of the referee and got away with it.

He was holding and headbutting since the froch days.

Then you have the low blows and headbutts against Kovalev.

It goes on and on, we've been through this before.

I don't wish to turn this into a Andre Ward thread. Everyone knows he was a career cheat and roider.

Bika was a dirty fighter himself so its fair for anybody to give back to him what he gives out. Ward is hardly the only fighter to use elbows for various resons. Everyubody does it so if it shocks you , that just tells me you haven't watched a lot of boxing during your life time.

I challenge you to show me headbutts against Kovalev?

Member when Carl Takam smashed the crown of his head into Joshua face , shattering his nose? You didn't care or factor that head smash into the equation when you were rubbishing Joshua's performance.

mastering the use of elbows is part of this game. Mayweather was exceptional at it

He masked it well but the elbow control was there in all his fights. If fighters knew hot to gain an edge like that , they would. Not many from this generation could fight on the inside as good as Ward could. Being that good is part of the reason he's hated.

Taylor was definitely given leeway to do that.
