guys, this is not a pacman vs jmm issue. Posters like 4rounder are paranoid. I did not say anything to discredit jmm.

IDIOT. marquez has been complaining of being avoided for years, that's why accdg to many, jmm's career has not been able to take off. And to think of it, these fights are career defining moment. I don't believe either that team marquez was ducking anyone, so i was just asking for something concrete. so don't say "to dicredit marquez". Sore loser

The underlined is a lie, and you are a liar and a grunt lol. Don't post lies here. Arum gave J.M.M a take it or leave it offer. When you calculated how much more J.M.M was going to make than his first purse, he was only getting $100,000 more than the first fight. Nacho and J.M.M wanted more because they gave a thrilling performance and knew more people would pay to see a rematch.

So J.M.M chickened out huh? lol, You Pac fanatics are the worst lol. You made something out of his comment after a fight, and came to the conclusion that he was not ready for another fight? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha...spoken from a clown who never even laced them up lol...Where do you sorry fans get the balls to talk about fighters and calling them chickens, and comments like "I don't count that money issue" lol. Do you actually think J.M.M is or was at any point scared of Pac??? Clown!!!

These are lies, and it shows that you don't know how purses are created, and that you don't know how boxing operates...lol

This is the exact truth, and I'm glad you pointed this out. Nacho said why should either fighter be willing to give a lot of money to a man who is not lacing them up. Good post, and this is the actual factual lol...

Is this the same principle why he turned deaf when Guzman called him out and instead he made himself Pac's ***** in their rematch? I heard he agreed to just about all concessions that Pac demanded (when the rumor spread that Pac is gonig straight against Diaz) just so he doesn't end up with Guzman..

nice retaliation  , u just come up and say these are lies without any backing to it, just shows how deluded you are into believing only what you want to believe, ignoring all facts to it, shows how ignorant and invalid all of your posts and knowledge of the sport is.

following Marquez's easy decision victory against Victor Polo on May 7, duBoef said Top Rank offered Marquez $1.5 million to fight Erik Morales this fall on HBO PPV. DuBoef said the Marquez camp asked for $3.5 million, a figure even the popular Morales has never been guaranteed for a fight.

How can any Pac fan talk about Guzman when Guzman has been calling PAc out for a while and was being groomed to fight PAc at 130 right up until they saw how Guzman fought Soto, and Arum basically said, "no way Jose, we aren't fighting runners" lol...

This is what i dont understand though:

Lets say arum was lying (very possible) and Marquez was offered say, only $400,000. Last i checked, thats still a hell of a lot more then $30,000. In fact, i am sure anyone would admit that ANY arum offer would be sufficiently higher then $30,000!

So my question: Why take a measly $30,000 when any top rank offer is definately going to be sufficiently higher then that?

I want to agree with you here Divac, but honestly, this sound like a case a major, major **** up from the Marquez camp

However, when you come from the position of less leverage, and you are given a 'take it or leave it' offer, then coming back with a counteroffer is the equivalent of 'leave it.' Nacho grossly underestimated how much Pac and Arum needed JMM for a rematch. Arum went on to make other big fights instead, and Pac's career has done just fine without the rematch.
