Trotter. I mean it when I say THANKS for the stick.
    Keep watching.
If you are in London tonight I will be interviewing Mickey Steeds at 8:30pm on BBC London radio 94.9.

    Adios.

They arn't on their own, don't get me started on that "you have to take the title" BS. The draw is there to protect the champ and thats all, other than that its just two men fighting.

Believe me, people do understand the situation but a lot like to swap back on forth between idealism and realism depending on the fighters involved.

Boxing is run to make money, not to satisfy the Corinthian Spirit of the promoters..;)

I think the IBF have shot themselves in the foot in this instance.

You would reckon that a sanctioning body would prefer to have the best fighter as their champion, with the contenders ranked downwards in order of their ability (perceived) and their recent achievements.

As Buncey correctly pointed out, Urango was schooled by Hatton, and done very little of note since, yet is above Ricky in their latest rankings......

The WBC are far from perfect, but at least they seem to have more of the better champions (if you get me) and don't impose ridiculous mando's on fighters.

(That does not mean N'goudjo is a ridiculous mando BTW - a rematch should have happened immediately between him and Paulie).

Hatton has won there title twice and never made a mandatory, she same would happen again. You cannot blame the IBF for dropping him.

He was going to face Lazcano, who pulled out with a bad hand I seem to remember - then moved up for Collazo.

I can't really blame him for vacating the second time, can't remember who the mando was - N'Dou maybe (certainly not a top 5 name).
