Anyone miss {ESPN} Brian Kenny? Did you know he trained with Tyson in his prime?

I rather have him discussing boxing than Stephan A Smith or Skip Bayless. I know for certain that 90% of the people on this site know more about boxing than them.

Not really. He was like Skip Bayless. I'm surprised he isn't in Skip's place every fight day.

    Ducking Baldomir and Mosley? C'monnn

But Bayless wouldn't know who Baldomir is.

Did you ever spar with him?
Oh my god, no. That would be have been suicidal. Back in those days, nobody could hang with him.

    Is Tyson crazy?
I never felt threatened by him. He never put off a bullying sort of aura or vibe. He was very good-natured. I'm not saying he was a saint - I didn't go out at night with him or anything.
He never walked around in a psychotic manner. But he's in some sort of role now, and he realizes that the media feeds off of it, and he's giving them what they want.

But what about his statement that he doesn't like to talk to female reporters unless he's had sex with them? Isn't that a little excessive?
I think he's someone now that's operating without a filter. I think we all have thoughts, and we all think things that we shouldn't say, he just says them. He doesn't feel there are any repercussions, and for the most part, there aren't.
I wasn't shocked by what he said to the female reporter. There is nothing new under the sun with what he's done in the past few months, nothing new. He's just operating without a filter and he doesn't hold back one iota.

Before I sell my Honus Wagner rookie card to pay for this fight on TV, tell me this: Will it actually happen?
At this point, I have flights arranged, a room ready, I'm going to have to go. I didn't think it was going to happen, but I think it's close enough now where you have to start taking it seriously. It's going to happen.

And, if I want to win some money to replace my baseball card collection after I've paid off the cable company, who should I bet on?
I think the first 45 seconds, Mike Tyson has an excellent chance. I think the first three rounds, Mike Tyson has a decent chance. I think rounds 4 through 12, Mike Tyson has very little chance.
Lennox Lewis has shown that he can be rocked early. If he can survive the early rounds, it's going to be Lennox's night.

Which is why I'm surprised he isn't in Skip's spot

Did you read the article I just posted?

I think that gives him a bit more credit than Skippy...let alone a lot of people here on these boards.

Skip just likes to chose sides and/or just adding to that character (if it is just that for the TV). Who knows.

Brian actually did praise Floyd despite the questioning episodes and follows boxing.

This has to be bull****. Did you ever see the footage of Floyd and BK hitting the machine that rates your punch strength? BK slapped at it and Floyd had to teach him how to punch, looked like the first time he ever threw a punch in his life.
