I kinda see what you're saying because the first few rounds mayweather was missing his shots and he didn't look like he usually does when he hops out of the way of an opponents punch. Either way the dude looked STRONG and I loved the way he brought the fight to Mosley. There was a poster on here who posted videos of what it would take to hit mayweather flush, that was jabbing to the stomach and coming up top with a right hand. That guy was SPOT ON. Too bad Mosley couldn't do it ever again after the second round.
thats what happens with age...if he was taking STEROIDS like Manny Pacquiao then hes still destroy every boxer.. Floyds age is showing and is another reason people suspect Pacquiao is on Roids. Come on people every boxer that got up in that age pacquiao and floyd are at started to fall off. But not pacquiao. Not the guys that went pro like at 15, nah he gets better as he gets older right??? **** outta here hes on roids. im 100% of it
Yep been here most my life.. But yea he's the best strategist in the game and for as far back as recent memory, except maybe a young Pea.. It'll be a thinkin fight but more to the fact where you can't let him get in your head. He's gonna fight his fight no matter what happens. It'll be up to the man who tries to beat him to fight their fight no matter what he does. Keep him outta your head, and your corner in it.
Mayweather seems to be getting better with age actually. When you fight at the top level like that you are bound to get tagged at least once. The fact that he did get tagged and adjusted to then thoroughly dominate the top WW in the way he did is indicative of his greatness.
Come on man steroids? Seriously? Pacquiao is a couple years younger than Floyd I don't think it's also fair to compare them and claim pacuiao has to be on steroids.. Pacquiao was fighting at 106 lbs?? he was so weight drained and starving himself. AS you get older you can really start to fill out your frame, that's why he has looked so good while moving up in weight because he isn't weight drained anymore and he can use his natural weight to help him be healthier on fight night. It must be great having to make weight by eating 8 times a day instead of eating once a day. Get what i'm saying? There is no proof about steroids with pacquiao. Look at Sergio martinez, the dude is 35 yrs old and taking out young bucks by using his LEGS, SPEED, and agility. All these things for a 35 yr old shouldn't be common right? But Sergio is doing it so he must be on steroids too? Not really.
At 33 I would be shocked if Floyd is the athlete he was at 25. However he has the skills and ring intelligence to combat this. One of the reasons I rate him ahead of Roy Jones.
... or because he did not let his hands go in the first place FLoyd was able to play aggressive and unload on Mosley his lather. There is an obvious question, did Floyd adjusted so much so Mosley couldn't unload anything and Floyd was scoring shots easily .... or Mosley got tired in the first place/independently from Floyd's performance and thats the reason he did not land on Floyd anymore and he was an easy target? What I've seen Mosley didn't even try to put his hands to go after second round, not even trying to land another bomb, then the second choice is obvious: Mosley got tired and Floyd took advantage of this.
Adjusted, adjusted to what? To Shane throwing a few punches in the first two rounds? HE STOOD RIGHT IN FRONT OF SHANE MOSLEY AND SHANE MOSLEY DID NOT THROW ANY PUNCHES, THIS IS NOT AN ADJUSTMENT I AM SORRY. These are questions we will never know, could be the "adjustment" could be the fact that mosley was "winded" who knows? I can't wait to rewatch the fight saturday night
your right im not a fan of floyd or manny i like watching boxing and dont act like you know me cuz i seen all of floyds fights i got his dvd set so shut your mouth fool so stop acting like you know boxing cuz if you didnt notice then your blinded as a fan
Sergio Martinez started boxing when he was like 22....way less experince and less stress on his body...pacquiaos been fighting since he was a kid......

ok Sergio has been fighting since he was TWENTY, but look how many fights he has? 46 fights under his belt? The guy is still THIRTY-FIVE years old. Whether you are in boxing, baseball, basketball or any other sport for that matter, at 35 years old you would expect someone to not be THAT agile and have GREAT legs the way sergio has. Steroid argument has no merit what-so-ever, let's get over it dude.
and LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO@ people saying hes past his prime because he got hit flush a grand TOTAL of 2 times....Pacquiaos been KOd before so he was past his prime 10 years ago...Marquez staggered Pacquiao. so that means hes past his prime....i swear you *******S are idiots...
hes not even that agile. you guys make it seem just becaue he beat slow ass pavlik hes some great great boxer.....Boxing is a completely different beast then any other sport....comparing what sergio is doing to wat pacquiao is doing in ridicoulus....its not like Sergio Martinez is moving up 2 weight classes at that age at once and getting better....Sergio and FLoyd and all these boxers that moved up did it gradually and with some bad affects....Pacquiao as he gets older and more stress on his body moves up 2-3 weights classes and KILLS....theres no way someone at that age can do what pacquiao is doing....let see is Martines can move up to super middle weight or light heavy and still be agile and all that BS....
