Bro, you are totally on the right track. Good job being the first one to notice this. Jeez I guess the fighter really is the last person to know. You should start saving your money, you'll crush the sports books with this brilliant foreknowledge. More to your point, can you imagine how easy Pac will destroy this washed up bum?
If Mosley had not quit throwing punches, he would have knocked Void out. Why was he advised to quit throwing punches and to quit trying to knock Void out? Pac refuses to throw a fight with Void. Void is a coward. Did you see how scared Void was in the second round? Void appeared to not understand why Mosley was hitting him. Did Mosley throw the fight? Was he told to do such? It appears so........... Paul Williams was correct. Pac would knock Void out, but Void will not fight Pac unless Pac agrees to throw the fight.
I wouldn't call it slipping when in 24 consecutive rounds he's only lost 1. I didn't give one round to JMM. Did Floyd really get hit that often against Shane?? As far as I know, Shane landed only 20% of his shots which is the same percentage N'dou and Chavez scored. Neither guy came close to beating Floyd. Hell, Bruseles landed 24% yet got beaten worse than Mosley. Anybody can get caught with one big haymaker. When Rahman ko'd Lewis, did that really mean he was a better fighter? Not at all. It means Lewis took him a bit lightly, that's all. As for Floyd's workrate, he's never been known as a guy who throws a lot of punches. He thrives off his accuracy. According to compubox, he threw 477 total punches which isn't a big difference compared to his previous fights. In the case of Jones-Tarver, we could see Jones slipping when he struggled against Tarver in their first match. We didn't see Floyd struggle against Shane otherwise it would've been a close contest. I don't think he lost a step. But I could be wrong. If has lost something, I highly doubt it's big enough to prevent him from beating Pac or Martinez or Williams. It's kinda like Michael Jordan playing with an illness. Even at less than 100% he's still able to dominate.
Only his speed has considerably declined imo, his generalship is probably better now, his strength is better also.
I dont want to go off just the mosley performance....but seriously after what I saw saturday....I think pacquiao gets sliced and diced, and a good chance of getting stopped... Pacquiao will be just as easy to hit as marquez.....he has average defense at best, and is a pattern fighter....he does nothing to change the dynamic of certain punches he gets hit with over the course of a fight.. I lean towards floyd by KO....Nothing against pacquiao, he can certainly prove me wrong...but i seriously think this is a one-sided fight in floyd's advantage...
i saw mayweather dominate mosely however.... but there was part of me that thought he was slipping some how..ever so subtle but it was there and I think thats what Freddy Roach saw too
wtf? dude no floyd is not starting to slip. Hell I still dont think mosley is starting to slip either lol. Floyd has been throwing 1 or 2 shots pretty much for 10 years now. Only the vintage floyd, the one back when he was young and hungry, was the one who would throw 5/6/7 shots the whole fight. Go watch floyd/manfredy to see what Im talking about.
I must say u earned my respect giving props to Floyd. I had u penciled as a ******* who would never credit Floyd. Boy was I wrong. :good
