Anyone notice how the referee skipped 4 numbers and immediately went to 5?

    Scott was hurt, got up too late. If the ref had not stopped the fight Chisora would have knocked him out. Scott was saved from a serious beating.

    Remember, Wilder refused to fight Thompson.................

    Of course he picked up the count from the timekeeper. Was it one second too fast? Maybe. Not worthy of complaining about.

    As for Scott getting counted out I have to say that is sort of lame. Ref stopped it at 9 as Scott was clearly half way to a vertical standing position and in my opinion, Scott was clearly not hurt in a way that any ref should have stopped it.

    However, that is why you get up at the count of 8 and not 9.
