Not a single message mentioning Povetkin's name after the fight fell apart. No word on the upcoming WBC decision. Wilder seems to be very happy fighting the Arreolas of the world

Wilder and His Team were jumping for joy, were back in Alabama in a flash before WBC even announced it, WBC have only postponed it, I'd expect it to still take place at the end of the year.

Wilder should go to the Rio Olympics, not for boxing, enter both 100m and marathon.

The situation was created by Povetkin, not Wilder.

Very true. But in that case Wilder could still be talking about the fight which hopefully happens down the line -- in case he wanted it no? Something like "Still can't wait to teach Povetkin a lesson when the fight happens!!!!"

    But no, total silence :deal:deal

Wilder's team wants the WBC to rule correctly, and when they do, a fight with Pedvetkin is next year at the earliest. There's bigger fish to fry, unification by the end of this year.

Povetkin fails a test but you criticise Wilder?
Deontay doesn't need to say anything about the fight at this point. Povetkin needs to sort his own ****ttt out first then the fight can be rescheduled

In fairness arreola the way he is now os actually a worse oppenent than the other 3 bums wilder beat. He is like in jail or something, failed the drug test in he's last fight, lost to Kaufman, lost to kassi, beaten twice by stiverne and struggles badly with low level journey men. Add on top of that he is given 5 weeks notice makes thus the most farcical fight ever

Add to wilder proclaiming he wont face dirty fighters its weird he then straight away fights a guy with two failed drug tests. And how wasn't arreola removed from the rankings and suspended after a failed drug test?

Wilder, to be first Olympian ever to contest 100m and marathon. And catch zika virus, so he can enter the disabled version if he doesn't collect any medals.

    :good
