Win, lose or draw. Anytime, anywhere. He's just that kind of fighter. A throwback. He's on a short list of guys like Pacquiao, Lomachenko, Gassiev, Kovalev and Shawn Porter as fighters who just dont care who their opponent is. They will fight him anyways.
I actually think everybody at MW besides Canelo and GGG is willing to fight anybody else in the division which is good right now with so much good competition.. GGG was willing at one point but he’s doing exactly what he called Sergio out for at this point.. He’s breaking the defense record this fight, cashing out against in the Canelo rematch and retiring or moving up.. Canelo has to be baited and have his courage questioned by his fans to fight a legitimate threat.. (Trout, Lara, GGG) to get a fight with him each guy had to pretty much accuse him of being scared and have some fans actually believe it then Canelo’s ego forces him to take that challenge..
Thank you. So far he's fought Golovkin and Quillen. BJS has a more impressive record with Eubank Jr, Lemieux, Monroe, Lee. You can hardly say either one will fight anybody since BJS admittedly ducked Golovkin for years. If Jacobs fought Canelo, BJS, and Charlo on top of that, he'd make a believer out of me. As far as Kovalev goes his last two opponents have been fairly underwhelming and the line to fight him is growing around the block: Beterbiev, Bivol, Gvozdyk, Stevenson, etc. If he's willing to fight anyone anytime then he should take one of them next. Shawn Porter is a better example of what the OP is talking about. He fought Brook, Thurman, and Broner. Wouldn't be surprised to see him square up against Khan, Spence, Horn, or Garcia. I'm not sure that even Pacquiao qualifies since 2012. He didn't fight the best welterweights of this generation in Khan, Brook, Spence, Porter, etc.
Danny said in an interview that they’re biding their time until a big fight comes along. That must mean Golovkin, Canelo or BJS, but I can’t see any of those guys fighting him anytime soon. So I guess it’s safe fights until then. If he fights Charlo I’ll give him credit.
Jacobs keeps calling out Charlo, when will Charlo answer him? Jacobs is not a cripple, nor is he Pee Wee Herman, so I don't expect Charlo to get up the nerve to fight Jacobs, he is afraid of him...............
