Kovalev is the bigger man. He's got the larger frame and skeletal structure.

 

Apparently he tried - Grover said something about a rematch when they ran into each other in the hotel lobby later and Kovalev was all for settling it there and then. Grover declined. I think Young really pissed Sergei off with that BS crying foul.
