Also they gave David Price a standing 8 count to recover, during the Thompson II fight.
I had no idea they allowed amateur style 8 counts for a home fighter still on his feet (only in the UK tho)

What about the Erislandy Lara vs. Paul Williams robbery, what about Joe Cortez in nearly every fight, what about the Pacquiao vs. Bradley robbery. The list is almost endless. All promoters are bad.

 

Joe is the exception in the states, as most stay out of the fight and officiate fairly. Like kahn vs garcia, kahn was given ample time to recovery. Even when he fought against peterson in DC the referee was fair to kahn and put up with his holding and elbows until he was left no choice but to deduct a point.

However every brit referee is solely trained to protect their fighter at all costs.

I loved it because it proved cleverly had the judges+ref on his side, so when he carried him back to the corner it was icing on the cake.

Yep. This is such a minor thing to complain about.

 

British Glass was shattered in round 3. They tried to flick it during the break but it didn't work.

 

There are some damn good refs in Britain but terry o Connor is a **** stain if I ever saw one. American referees are no better. Ref for the first Mollo fight, khan peterson, Joe cortez, mares agbeko. Those complaining about the chisora stoppage need to get a grip, nothing wrong with that stoppage in my opinion.

But back to the matter at hand terry o Connor is a pocket judge and should be banned from the sport.

Cleverly was knocked into the refs path. The ref simply catched Cleverly and moved him away to prevent a collision, ala like when Wlad tripped over the ref vs Brewster.
