Just forget the scores and everything about the fight and focus on Cotto overall. Don't you think his rapidly improving from his previous fights. I predicted Shane would be too much for Cotto especially in hand speed but instead we saw Cotto displaying some handspeed of his own. Okay, so maybe his mug is still open for criticism but I've noticed his defense also improved. And notice his last two fights. Judah and Shane. Both slick, speedy fighters. Maybe he really is preparing himself and anticipating a superfight for PBF. Anyway, before the SSM fight I felt that Cotto is vulnerable to speed and all, but the fight last night seems to change my mind slowly. Maybe he already has a way to trap/cut the ring against PBF.
Yup. Just when I thought he already reached his peak when I saw him the other day that this guy is still improving. I think PBF should think 2x before even considering fighting Cotto, if he does it could be his 1st L, and that is if he beats Ricky in his next assignment.
