Anyone on here that thinks Haye would beat Wlad, please explain.......

I don't think that Wlad will like Haye's speed at all and it will really make him think. Haye also has plenty of power for his weight and if he uses his speed to get to Wlad, I'm not sure Wlad will hold up. Haye also favours fighting guys taller than him

I think its a pretty even fight, with Wlad being a slight favourite. I don't think that there is anyway that you can say that Haye only wins by a freak KO.

I actually give Haye a very good chance.

Haye is a counter puncher and I can see Wlad doing his normal palming range finding jab and Haye slipping and connecting with the right alot in this fight!

The problem with Wlad is he knows he has a weak chin so your never going to change the way he fights.

I've said in other posts watch the first round against a VERY hungry ruiz shot or not. and watch the way he slips every punch thrown and then while he is walking backwards he throws a one two and put Ruiz on his back! This show Haye carries power.

Haye is an athelete unlike many fighters Wlad has fought so this will also work in his favour.

The only problem I actually see with Haye is he does not finish to well or I should say is very sloppy in doing so.

I can see haye winning this fight by tko mid rounds! I think he will be to young,strong and fast for Wlad.

This is just how I feel but i have to say its looking like the fight will happen as both camps are not saying it is not happening.

 

Pretty much what I think.

The key is if Haye can slip and counter the jab using his hand and footspeed and avoid being hit too much himself.

I don't think there will be anything lucky about a KO victory for Haye and if the odds are decent I'll be putting a fair amount down on it.

Look at chamber in the first round against Wlad, he was managing to land with the right hand a fair amount with very little movement and pretty crap footspeed. Sure it didn't last long but chambers isn't as agile quick or as hard hitting as Haye. Haye will be a moving target, unlike every other Klitschko opponent and he will be able to counter that jab with the right hand. Wlad headhunts the whole time, never goes to the body because he'd have to get closer and be open to counters, the head is a small target (perhaps not in the case of Haye ) and if it's moving it will be harder to hit....

Also no way does Haye think he will lose to Wlad absolutely no way...that is probably the one thing other than speed that is largely in his favour, his mental strength.

 

Fair enough, I just view the fight not happening as politics personally. But Haye is competitive as they come, if he was that scared he'd be afraid to fight in Germany. I don't see it personally.

I see Wlad as the mentally fragile of the two, although there is no way I think Wlad doubts he will win either.

 

I dont think its because he is scared i think its because he is to bloody greedy!

I honestly believe Haye thinks he will take Wlad out thats why he is trying to make that fight and not Vitali.

IF he will win will be down to the game play they have for Wlad and i have a feeling they have already worked it out.

This fight i cannot see going the distance it will be a tko for Haye OR ko for Wlad.

 

it would be far from a lucky shot but theres no way Wlad can go the whole fight without Haye landing at least one bomb. Have you ever seen Wlad chase someone around the ring? Do his punches have any power when his feet are not planted? Haye simply won't stand in front of Wlad taking jabs all night and as others have said, he is a coutner puncher and a HUGE puncher able to throw awkward bombs with both hands while backing up or on the ropes.

Simply Haye is so much better than anyone Wlad has faced for a long long time. If Manchester United played in League 1 every week dicking on teams, then wen't and played in the Champions League they would get spanked. Same applys here.

 

Theres always more to it than that. The reason this fight hasn't happened is money and ego if you think either man are scared of one another your seriously mistaken.

Pretty sure Haye and Booth will have a game plan on how to beat Wlad. It could be the complete wrong strategy but I am pretty sure there confident about it. I imagine Steward and Wlad have the same but cannot see it being much different to the usual boring Wlad fight keeping him away with the jab and only throwing the right once Haye is out on his feet.

Has Wlad ever faced anyone like Haye? Has Haye ever faced a 6ft5 negative south paw thats scared to engage?

 

I don't buy that Haye not having taken a fight with Wlad sooner means that he doesnt think he can win. He was just on nice earner with the WBA title and decided to cash in on it for a while.


If the Wlad fight happens this summer Haye will make at least as much for it as he would have in 2009 or 2010 ..PLUS the purses from Ruiz and Audley....

 

I agree in principle, in reality Vitali will be a lot harder to knock out than Wlad for the simple fact that Vitali has a good chin. Haye tires towards the end rounds and if the fight is even slightly close in Germany, the Klits are winning, undoubtedly (as would be true of the opposite in England). He has more chance of knocking out Wlad and saying for his final fight, if you want it Vitali, come to England.

 

He's Quick he's fast and he's got good head movement, and he's got a massive right hand, which when it lands, really does damage.

Basically if it lands early on, Wlad with his history of freezing/dear in headlights is for the taking, and we know what a wonderful if a little ragged finisher Haye is, he'd maul him like Sanders did.
